Hello folks

Having bought a 2023 Kia Niro, it is good to join a forum dedicated to this model.
I look forward to reading your contributions and contributing.

I've just purchased a 72 plate Kia Niro 3 1.6 petrol hev and want to install a FMT100 tracker onto it. Can someone point me to where the 12v battery is located on the car. The car is currently still at the dealership and should be back with me in a couple of days.

The 12 volt battery on a 72 plate HEV is part of the main lithium-ion battery, but slightly separate if that makes sense. The HEV and the EV have this arrangement, but oddly the 72 plate PHEVs like mine have a separate lead-acid battery in the boot at the back. It's on the right as you look into the boot. My old 66 plate HEV also had this arrangement.
Not sure where you could pick up the 12v, the fuse box is in the engine compartment. That's where you find the terminals to do a jump start - see the manual.
