Re: New Niro 3- first hybrid
Hi Madasadad. I bought a Niro 4 HEV last May. I've done 3200 mile of which about half of those miles was on a motorway or doing 70 mph. During the summer I averaged 57 MPG which is now dropping as it gets colder, at present it is 55.2 MPG. My last car was a 1.2 petrol automatic Qashqai which average...

Re: Intelligent speed limit warning system
Every car that I have had with a speed limiter alarms if you go over the set speed limit while going downhill and that is without having an "intelligent speed limit warning", unless that is what it means.

Re: Intelligent speed limit warning system
I agree, still trying to figure out how it is intelligent and still waiting for it to warn me of something. I've got it displaying the speed limit and the speed that the car is doing on the map but that's it. If I go over the speed limit I thought it would warn me but nothing happens.

Re: Finally figured out front sensors
Hi AlanW55. I found that after I have reversed, like when I am parallel parking or reversed onto my drive, all sensors are active, forward and reverse and the light on the "P" switch is lit. It is the same when I first start up but I have just tried it and I found that as I move the gear l...

Finally figured out front sensors
Only had the car for 4 weeks so still sorting the bits out. The other day when I parked in front of a hedge the front sensors did not alarm. When I got home and reversed the car into the garage I got the book out and it said that the front sensors had to be switched on by the switch next to the gear...

Update Niro V Qashqai
I have now had the Niro 4 HEV for 2 weeks now. The good points of the Niro compared with the Qashqai. Better fuel economy. Better ride, 18inch wheels compared with 19inch on the Qashqai. Better cornering, lower car. Comfort is about the same Acceleration about the same Noise level in cabin, about th...

Re: Niro V Qashqai
Thanks Alan. yes I lowered the steering wheel and raised the seat and that has caused the problem. I've messed around with the mirror switches and they now stay in the normal position when in reverse. It's just getting used to the different set up.

Niro V Qashqai
Just had my Niro HEV 4 for a week now. My last two cars has been Nissan Qashqai. The good points on the Niro is the economy, on a decent run the Niro is around 12 to 14 mpg better around town is a lot more. The Niro is a better ride but I could put that down to the 18inch wheels compared with 19inch...
