PHEV self charging methods
I'm looking to change my Niro HEV 4 for a Niro PHEV 3 (or possibly a Ceed Sportswagon PHEV 3). Does the PHEV self charge the battery in the same way as the HEV while coasting and from the ICE? I'll be honest in that I'm a company car driver and have a free fuel card. The PHEV offers a significant ta...

Re: Coasting guide
Glad I'm not the only one, hopefully someone will take pity on our plight and point out where we are going wrong. (Please)

Re: Coasting guide
Tried it again today, all turned on in settings and sat nav programmed for a 2 hour trip to Aberystwyth - nothing, no sounds, no visual indications, not a peep, double checked every setting before the return trip and changed the coasting setting from early to late and still nothing... I must be doin...

Coasting guide
Hi,
Has anyone managed to get the coasting guide to work, I've tried repeatedly but to no avail?

Re: Fuel consumption
It appears that, counterintuitively, you can use the A/C to heat/warm the car and it will run in EV mode more often than if the A/C is off. The 'driver only' setting does seem to also make a big difference to EV running. So on the regular hybrid at least, it would appear the best economy is achieve...

Re: Reversing sounder.
I have the sound as well, doesn't really bother me. It's obviously meant to happen, I assume its to make it a little more obvious that i'm moving in reverse in EV mode, possibly when reversing out of parking places. Whatever it is it's not annoying me yet.

Re: Fuel consumption
Managed 56.3 mpg today on a run from Ludlow to Aberystwyth and back, twisty and hilly is the general description for the route. The trip there was as I would describe "normal pace" and in keeping with any traffic around me. The return trip was slightly more spirited as I had to be somewher...

Media unit stays on
Hi, An unusual observation. When I switch the car off the media unit continues to play until I open the drivers door - ok, I can deal with that even though I have never had it on any other vehicle but what is strange is the following... I opened the front passenger door, and pressed the ignition but...
