Paint Warranty - stone chips on bonnet
We own a '17 Niro 2 which (now) has stone chip paint damage on the bonnet. (One down to the white primer and two down to base coat. Before I attempt to plough through the warranty document(s), can anyone advise if I HAVE to get paint damage repaired through the Dealer to maintain the warranty? Or ca...

Tyre Repair Kit Expiry Date - ??
Just had our '17 Niro 2 Serviced/MOT'd and on the Health Check was an item stating the Tyre Repair Kit Expiry Date is 08/09/2021.
I have no idea why it would have an expiry date - any ideas?
Cheers

windscreen wipers replacement
We have '17 Niro 2. Have just noticed the rubber on the rear windscreen wiper blade is splitting (about 5cm). How easy is it to buy replacement wiper blades? Is it just the 'rubber' bit I have to buy, or is it better to buy the blade with the rubber already attached (but not the whole arm...). How e...

Re: Strap on Bike Rack
Good post and reply. I have a Halfords bike rack which fitted our old car no problem as there was a square bumper jutting out under the tailgate. I hadn't really thought about what would happen if I tried fitting it to our Niro!! A really useful post, thanks to you both. Anyone wanna buy a bike rack...

Opening boot
Niro 2. Can you open the boot with the engine still running? Coz it seems I have to switch off and remove the ignition key, before anyone can open the boot. (Annoying if you are just dropping shopping off). Please advise.

Satnav manual - soft copy attached (I hope)
Kia have forwarded to me a soft copy of the Niro sat nav manual, which I will attempt to attach to this post. They have stated 'We’d be happy for you to upload it and share with Niro owners. I’d recommend noting that it applies to model years ’17-’19 because the recently arrived ’20 model features t...

Re: steering wheel controls
Just checked the dimmer controls. They seemed to be a bit low, so moved them up to '10'. Will see how that goes. Tks all for your help
