Re: Bought one :-)

Congratulations on your new car! Look forward to seeing the pictures ;)

The Qashqai has a little clip for the centre belt otherwise you're right it bounces around a bit. What about just leaving it fastened?

Re: Battery Life??

I suspect also that the cost of the batteries will come down, so where it might cost £1600 now, in 7 years time it could be a lot less.

Still, something worth thinking about.

Re: Another Newbie

Welcome to the forum Peter.
The prices were difficult to find, for some reason Kia dealers were keeping them very secretive at one stage!

Let us know how you get on and what you decide to order.

Re: Taking the Plunge

Welcome to the forum GreenMan, I certainly think you're right and it's the way countries are going now. I think diesel taxes will only go up over the coming months / years.

Have you had a look at the Niro yet or just ordered without seeing one when it was announced?

Re: Kia Niro First Edition review - AutoCar

I always say take a look yourself and what suits one person may not suit another, take reviews as a guide only.

That said some of the review is kind of disappointing but I see where they are coming from - £27k+ is a lot for this type of car.

Re: Bought one :-)

Congratulations on your order Jim, you'll have to keep us updated with progress.

Just out of interest if you hadn't ordered the safety pack how long would the wait have been?

Re: KIA in general

Certainly I think they are a match for most mainstream car manufacturers available in the UK, they also have the excellent long warranty too.
