Re: eNiro Key
I can't imagine how this could be achieved. My wife and I keep our keys in a metal box (coffee tin) that acts as a faraday cage blocking the keys' radio pulses. It also disciplines me to put the keys in one place instead of wherever, was always losing them.....our keys are two years old now and stil...

Re: Door handles
I don’t know if Mk 2 Niro door handles are the same as Mark 1 (in terms of shape), but if they are you might have some luck at a reputable breakers yard?

Re: Air con
No, the A/C compressor in the HEV is electrically driven. It's a moot point anyway, since Kia have apparently introduced the lower temperature limit you cite in the Market 2 model. I've no further comment as I am not familiar with your car.

Re: Air con
A puzzle indeed. I can set the temperature on my HEV to LO (sic), and the manual says the A/C will keep running continuously. Never tried it "to destruction" mind! The A/C on the HEV is electric so can't see the logic...wait a minute, I must remember not to keep using that word "logic...

Re: Air con
Turn the temperature knob fully towards blue, press the CLIMATE button, take a photo of the screen and post it in a reply. Then we can see what's going on.

Re: Finally made it!
Love your comment "Why on earth didn't Kia do it as standard?". If I had a pound for every time I've seen/said that.... Ref your lack of speed limit warning, the Niro does have a speed limiter and a (so-called) intelligent speed limit warning that should satisfy your needs. I trust you can...

Re: Updating maps
Thanks, I had twigged that the maps needed updating, I was asking how much time I had before it was necessary. Anyway, all just done, relatively painless. Updated on a longish drive, didn't see the point of just sitting in the car with the ignition on, the whole process took around half an hour. It ...

Anyone any experience of what "not much time left" means in this message? Photo dated 7 July.

Re: Vampire drain or fault
EV battery charge indicators are not 100% accurate, the on-board chip may use several different algorithms to assess the best estimate of remaining charge. One of the principal parameters seems to be the temperature of the battery. It’s quite possible that your battery cools down overnight, and the ...

Re: Cruise Control SEt Speed not Displayed
Strange one...have you tried switching between standard and smart cruise control? Insofar as there is no CTRL-ALT-DEL, it might oust the bug....
