Oil warning light

Kia Nero self-charge 66 reg

Has anyone had an oil warning light coming on intermittently?
It comes on after about 5 to 10 minutes, when the engine has warmed up I guess, and will go out when the battery is powering the car. It will go on and off randomly and has got worse, that is, it does it for longer. On a long journey it is going on and off for 45 minutes to an hour, then stops.
It is somewhat annoying and unsettling.
I have obviously checked the oil level which is fine and the oil does not appear discoloured. Mpg is still OK.
I mentioned this when the car went in for its yearly service, but was told that they could find nothing wrong.

I suspect it's the oil pressure sensor, but would be grateful for anyone's input if you've experienced anything like this.
I am thinking of going back to the dealer and insisting on the sensor being changed.

Thanks
Phil

The guys at TMS KIA Hinckley have found the fault!. They managed to get the problem to show at the workshop and were able to diagnose a faulty module. From what I understand, this is an electronic module that handles the warning light.
Now replaced under warranty. No more red light, less stress.
Well done TMS.

Presumably TMS are the dealer who originally found nothing wrong, it shouldn't be acceptable that you have had to take the car back at your inconvenience. They "owe you one".
