No lots o 3's around. The extra toys are worth it as it saves a longer order time for a 2pluz ADAP. The only minus for a 3 is the larger wheels and road tax difference. In the long run am sure the driver will make the most difference to economy / costs. What colour is yours,. I had to have artic grey to avoid delay but prefer the blue or red shades enjoy the car h2onorth

Hi, nice to hear from you. Yes like you a 3 was available more quickly. We
Have gone for pearl white, would have gone for the red shown on the brochure
But the "real thing" was quite different. I prefer the larger wheel and style together
With the larger sat nav. I went back to Kia to look at the latest Sorento, I have the previous
Version but ended up buying the Nero for the wife and selling her 8 year old Honda Civic
Which had only done 3800 miles. ( she only ever drove mine) hoping to get it back!

Acquiring a Niro all started last year when I saw how the diesel saga might play out. Wanted to trade the diesel whilst I could still get a decent offer. Looked at the petrol sportage but the emission figures were high and possibly might also begin to be penalised. This is when I began to look at the Niro seriously. Anyway main point is that Kia are going to have to introduce some efficient petrol engined models soon. At one point their whole fleet was diesel powered.

Hello. My nickname Jeanjo and I live near Waterloo. I mean the real Waterloo in Belgium, not the railway station in London. I am 74 years old while my present car is sonly 9. This is a bit unfair so I decided she (the car) should be free to look for a younger driver. To avoid being lonely on the road, I ordered a Kia Niro end of April. On the Belgian Niro catalogue, there are three levels, I choose the second level, the nickname is Fusion.
My Niro Fusion is expected to arrive in October, dressed in pure white, imagine my impatience ! Waiting six long months is tough, even at 74.
My actual car is a Ford C max diesel with a 1.6 engine. This is an excellent car supported by an excellent service but I wanted to get out of the diesel mode, go for hybrid and benefit from the many drive supports offered by the new generation of cars. I also wanted the same size and the same price target, around 30k€. This being said, the short list is very short indeed: Toyota Auris or Kia Niro. You know my choice.
Before ordering I went through the net and read about forty tests and reviews of the Niro. All conclusions are positive to very positive except one published by a former French F1 pilot. For this guy comfort and fuel economy are fine, all the rest is poor. His main point is: the Niro is too placid! God bless him!
Nice to join you group.

Hi Jeanjo......... Welcome to the Niro forum .... I know how you feel about waiting for your new car , but let me and many others on here will tell you ... Its well worth the wait ..... Ignore reviews , most are biased ... Best reviews are from real owners , and me , i personally gave the car 9/10 .

Hi, I have just joined the forum after looking foravrear rear light cover as mine was cracked by a branch from a shrub. I ha.'ve a Niro 2 and have been very happy With it. I took delivery 3rd March and so far done about 2000 miles. Mind you, I am still trying to work my way through the manual!!!!! I am sure the mpg can be increased by leaving the manual at home....

You're right there. I had a stack of user manuals in all different languages hiding under the boot floor when I picked up my Niro. My boot is full of electric wheelchair most of the time - even my compact folding one at 21KG will impact the fuel economy.
