Hi, New member. Got my 2019 "4" yesterday.

I have 2 immediate issues. What is the significance of the two front USB ports? In particular the one with red Led illumination? Also, despite installing Android Auto on my Honor 8x phone and (hopefully) activating on the car, the Android Auto icon is greyed out. I've tried connecting the phone to all the USB ports, even the one in the centre armrest box.

Many thanks

Martin

Hi Martin

Not sure how you have been trying to connect your phone but Andriod Auto requires the phone to be connect via the usb port by the wireless charging mat on the car. Once connected by the cable just follow the insructions on the phone and head unit also ensuring that tethering has bee activated on your phone. Tethering is found in settings, connections and then scroll down to Mobile Hotspots and Tetherings. Android Auto should then work, however you must use the cable connection everytime you wish to use AA ensuring tethering is turned on.

Many thanks. It appear that Honor phones have some AA issues. Now sorted. Thanks.
