Hello all
My Niro PHEV is not scheduled for delivery for another 8 - 10 weeks. Could anyone advise me - does the engine have a belt or chain driven camshaft? If a belt, what is the advice for replacement age or mileage?
Hoping it is a long time before this becomes important
Thanks in advance
Best regards

There is no reference to a timing belt/replacement in the manual.
See the webpage below which refers to a timing chain.

Thanks AlanW55
It is goodl to know the engine does not have a timing belt. Chains are normally much better and more reliable. I don't expect to be going anyway near it anyway.
Thanks again
