Hello,
I recently bought a second hand Kia Niro (2020) with the basic sound system (Non Harman) and it just sounds awful!
I have very good components to install but unfortunately, I understood that for this car (and apparently most Hybrid cars) you can't go big on amplifiers as they draw a lot of power from the battery which can cause problems to the system.
Some posts I've seen say that you shouldn't install any aftermarket amplifiers and just go with the stock sound system and some recommend to use a maximum 30 Ampere amp which is roughly 360W.
I was thinking of buying an entry level 2-way component speakers like JL Audio c1-650 or Focal 165 access or similar in front and same level coaxial in the back, and to pair it with the micro amplifier Audiocontrol ACM-4.300 or Musway P2 (without back speakers)
Does someone have any experience with installing an aftermarket in an Hybrid Kia niro (2019-2022)?
Would like to hear your thoughts
Thanks
