Welcome to the forum and your new car! PHEV driving is not that much different to driving a pure 'ICE' car.
To make it as economical as possible, (which presumably is why you bought it) always use the flappy paddles for MAX REGEN and to slow. This will also make your brake pads last longer.
My eNiro had it's 3 year service a few weeks ago and the brake pads were only 10% worn after 16,000 miles.
I use max regen at all times.
I have had a PHEV a few years ago. They are Brilliant! ENJOY!

Hi my hybrid 2017 only uses regen on breaking as no paddles. After 8 years still on original brake disc and pads 42000 miles. I do not like rear discs on regen fitted cars as they do so little work they just corrode and get pitted. I know newer cars have some auto system to reduce this lack of use but it’s not the solution. My issue too is after washing car and wheels you need to drive it to dry the discs otherwise they rust overnight. Salt too is a nightmare.
