Nothing new here

HOWEVER

After last night, there is less of a reason for Kia to bring these into the UK because the UK will no longer be part of the EU and so there is no longer any benefit for Kia to add EV's into the UK since these cars won't count towards the EU Emissions Target, any longer !!!

So while they might say they'll ship in 3000, you can expect a possible slip in deadline, and I'd say that now all bets are off regarding the second half of the year

This video is FIVE years out of date and talks about the eNiro NOT the Niro EV.
I also drive a 2021 eNiro 4+ and it is the best car I have ever had out of the 79 I have owned. It has and does everything I need.

That’s an interesting take about the potential delays or reduced incentives for Kia to bring the eNiro into the UK. It’s frustrating for those of us who’ve been eyeing one of these cars, especially since options for affordable and efficient EVs can already feel limited. I was considering getting my first EV and had my hopes up, but this kind of uncertainty makes it harder to plan. Guess it’s a good time to keep exploring alternatives or maybe just wait and see how the market shapes up after all these changes.

I’ve been focusing on improving some tech skills that might come in handy for work and personal projects. For instance, converting audio formats like OMA to more flexible ones like MP3 has been surprisingly easy with tools like this OMA converter from https://www.movavi.com/audio-converter/ ... erter.html. You might find it helpful if you ever deal with older audio files.

No worse than any other manufacturer and better than some
New Kia Niro :
The delivery time for a Kia Niro EV in the UK is typically 12–16 weeks. However, delivery times can vary depending on the vehicle's specifications and the time of year.
Explanation
The pandemic and the war in Ukraine caused shortages of semiconductors and other components, which slowed production and lengthened delivery times.
In 2023, Kia's UK line-up, including the Niro EV, had returned to normal factory lead times.
The status of an order can be checked with the dealer, who can also raise an enquiry with Kia if needed.
Related information
The Kia Niro EV has a 64 kWh battery, an electric range of 253 miles, and a 7.2 kW charging speed.
Other Kia models and their delivery times include:
Kia Niro Hybrid: 12 weeks
Kia Sorento: 14 weeks
Kia Sportage: 14 weeks
Kia EV6: 4–6 months
Kia Ceed: 13–18 weeks
